We are delighted to share the success of the InfoDay organised by DEULA, which took place on April 14th, 2023 at the Conference Hall Blattpavillon, DEULA Nienburg in Germany. The event saw an impressive turnout of 61 attendees, including farmers, educators, and agricultural professionals. We are thrilled to report that 100% of the surveyed participants expressed their satisfaction, confirming that their expectations for the InfoDay were met. The program was highly praised for its engaging content, with 54 participants rating it as highly attractive and 7 participants deeming it nearly highly attractive, indicating overwhelmingly positive feedback. Moreover, over 85% of the audience acknowledged the AgriSmart materials as valuable educational resources for teaching sustainable and digital topics in agriculture. The event featured esteemed speakers such as Bernd Antelmann, Managing Director of DEULA Nienburg, Heide Reimer, Erasmus Coordinator of DEULA Nienburg, and Wolfgang Hanke, Landscape Architect BDLA, who delivered insightful presentations on various subjects related to agriculture, biodiversity, and vocational training. The workshop session provided an opportunity for participants to actively contribute their perspectives on work-based learning (WBL) and innovative teaching methods in sustainable and digital agriculture. Overall, the InfoDay fostered knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the significance of sustainable agriculture in ensuring food security and combating climate change.
